REFUND AND RETURN POLICY

Thank you for shopping with Resin Art Dublin. Each piece is individually handcrafted, and we want you to be happy with your purchase.

This policy applies to purchases made through resinartdublin.ie and does not affect your statutory rights under Irish and European Union consumer law.

READY-MADE PRODUCTS AND YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

If you purchase a standard, ready-made product online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of receiving your order by emailing info@resinartdublin.ie. Please include your name, order number and the item you wish to return.

After notifying us, you must return the product within a further 14 days. We will provide the appropriate return address and instructions by email.

RETURN CONDITIONS

Returned ready-made products should be:

• Unused and in their original condition
• Securely packaged to prevent damage during transit
• Returned with all components and accessories supplied with the product
• Accompanied by proof of purchase or the order number

Original packaging should be used where reasonably possible.

You may inspect the product as you would in a physical shop. However, you may be responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the product’s nature, characteristics and condition.

RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

If you are returning a ready-made product because you changed your mind, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning it.

We strongly recommend using a tracked postal service and retaining proof of postage. Resin Art Dublin cannot accept responsibility for return parcels lost or damaged in transit.

If a product is faulty, damaged or not as described, Resin Art Dublin will cover any reasonable return costs in accordance with applicable consumer law.

REFUNDS

Once a valid cancellation has been received, we will issue the refund within 14 days. We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned product or you provide evidence that it has been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Approved refunds will be made using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

For eligible cancellations, we will refund the price paid for the product and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Any additional cost resulting from choosing express, upgraded or another more expensive delivery service will not be refunded.

Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund.

CUSTOM, PERSONALISED AND MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS

The statutory 14-day right to cancel does not apply to products that are made to order or clearly personalised for you.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Bespoke resin pieces
• Products containing names, dates, messages or other personalised details
• Products made in colours, dimensions or designs specifically requested by the customer
• Wedding bouquet and flower preservation pieces
• Memorial pieces
• Products created using flowers, keepsakes or other materials supplied by the customer

Once work or preparation has begun on a custom or personalised order, it cannot normally be cancelled, returned or refunded because of a change of mind.

This exclusion does not affect your legal rights if a personalised product is faulty, damaged or not made as agreed.

HANDMADE CHARACTERISTICS

Each resin piece is individually poured and finished by hand. Small variations in colour, pattern, flower placement, bubbles and finish may naturally occur and are part of the character of handmade resin art.

Natural flowers may also vary in colour, shape and appearance during drying and resin preservation. These disclosed handmade characteristics are not normally considered faults.

FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If an item is faulty, damaged during delivery, incorrect or not as described, contact us as soon as possible at info@resinartdublin.ie.

Please include:

• Your name and order number
• A description of the issue
• Clear photographs of the item, packaging and any visible damage

Where possible, please keep the product and its packaging while we assess the issue.

Depending on the circumstances and your rights under Irish consumer law, an appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

Reporting delivery damage promptly, preferably within 48 hours, helps us make a claim with the delivery provider. This requested reporting period does not limit your statutory consumer rights.

SALE ITEMS

Ready-made sale items have the same statutory cancellation and faulty-goods rights as other ready-made products. Custom or personalised sale items remain subject to the personalised-product exclusion described above.

EXCHANGES

We do not operate a direct exchange service for change-of-mind returns. If your ready-made product is eligible for return, you may return it in accordance with this policy and place a new order separately.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS BEFORE DISPATCH

If you wish to cancel a ready-made order before it has been dispatched, contact us immediately at info@resinartdublin.ie.

For custom or personalised orders, cancellation will depend on whether materials have been purchased and whether design, preparation or production work has begun.
